Caesar 155-mm self-propelled howitzers supplied to Ukraine by France, are used against the enemy in the Donbas.

Caesar’s ACS fires at groups of invading military equipment and manpower.
Journalists report that the story was filmed in the Donbas.
Some footage shows a destroyed group of armored vehicles: two T-72 tanks, one BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle, the BTR-82A armored personnel carrier, and some Russian military personnel nearby. However, it is not clear when and where these units were damaged.
As previously reported, the Caesar self-propelled howitzers were received by the 55th Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A video shared on social media showed that French CAESAR 155-mm wheeled self-propelled howitzers have arrived in Ukraine and put to use against the enemy.
The Caesar ACS transfer from France to Ukraine was announced on April 22, 2022. In an interview, French President Emanuel Macron mentioned that supplies for Ukraine include a variety of weapons “from Milan (Milan ATGM – ed.) to Caesar”. The current plan is to continue such supplies in the future.
France is going to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine a new batch of 155-mm Caesar self-propelled howitzers. This was announced by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna.
CAESAR is a French 155-mm wheeled self-propelled howitzer developed by the GIAT Industries. Its serial production was launched in 2007. 72 units of it were delivered to the French army. The barrel length is 52 calibers. It carries 18 rounds of ammunition and fires 6 shots per minute.
Caesar has a capacity to use the full range of NATO 155-mm artillery shells. It uses the Renault Sherpa 5 6×6 as the chassis.
