Over the course of the full-scale war with russia, Ukraine has lost approximately 1,300 servicemen.

This is reported by the Militarnyi.

For the first time, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the President of Ukraine, has announced the number of Ukrainian military killed in russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

“As of today, on our side, approximately 1,300 servicemen have died, and over 12,000 on russia’s side. One to ten. I’m not happy about it, it’s not how I see the world in general,” Zelenskyi said.

He also pointed out that russian information policy inside the country was talking about “fascism” in Ukraine, but in fact, it is the russian invaders who are behaving like Nazis.

“Why are there so many prisoners? Because they came to kill us, and then they saw that, first, that they are weak, that we will not give up because we are on our land. And, secondly, some of them realized, despite being 18-20 years old, that they are behaving like Nazis. Because that’s how it was during the Nazi times – they are looting, they are blocking cities, they are not even giving people water,” the Head of State says.

Previously, the Ukrainian authorities did acknowledge the losses among Ukrainian defenders, but did not announce the exact numbers.
