On the night of August 11, Ukrainian drones struck the logistics facility of Russian online marketplace Wildberries near Voronezh, sparking a large-scale fire.

The targeted facility is located near the village of Novaya Usman in the Novousmansky District. It was fully opened at the end of 2025.

The facility covers 152,900 square meters and can hold more than 90 million items.

Wildberries said overnight that employees in the region had been evacuated.

“Wildberries’ logistics facilities in the Voronezh region have been evacuated in accordance with safety requirements,” the company said.

In the Voronezh region, a drone attack warning was issued shortly after midnight. At around 1 a.m., Governor Alexander Gusev announced an air-raid alert in Voronezh itself and the surrounding areas.

In the morning, he reported that fires broke out at two warehouses belonging to a major company in the Novousmansky District following the “fall” of a drone.

At one facility, the fire was contained to an area of 16,000 square meters, while firefighters were still battling a blaze covering 20,000 square meters at the other. According to him, debris also damaged three trucks and one passenger car.

Previous strikes on Wildberries

Russian Wildberries warehouses have been targeted several times this summer. In particular, on the morning of August 7, Lyutyi strike drones hit a marketplace hub in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Region, more than 1,700 kilometers from Ukraine.
