Ukrainian bomber drones destroyed two Russian jamming stations of the Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system.

According to the released video, the enemy equipment was destroyed in the operational zone of the Tavria operational-strategic group.

The station’s appearance suggests that it was most likely an R-934BMV jamming station mounted on an MT-LBu chassis, providing high mobility and cross-country capability.

The location of the Russian electronic warfare systems was discovered by Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance. After that, multi-rotor bomber drones were sent to destroy them.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces widely use such unmanned aerial vehicles to target Russian equipment, infantry, and field fortifications and positions across various frontlines.

Ukrainian drones dropped at least two munitions on enemy vehicles, resulting in the ignition of one and at least serious damage to the second.

It is likely that the R-934BMV jamming stations, which are part of the Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system, were either completely neutralized or rendered inoperable for an extended period of time.

The exact coordinates of the Russian systems are not disclosed by the Ukrainian military, who only note that they are costly.

Borisoglebsk-2

The main task of the RB-301B Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system is to detect and jam various communications systems, radio navigation systems. The Armed Forces of Ukraine captured a vehicle from this system early in the large-scale war with Russia. Primarily, it targets communication and control systems at the tactical level, including satellite communications. Additionally, it has the capability to jam radio navigation systems.

Given the wide range of tasks of the system, it consists of several different equipment units, namely, the R-330KMV control center and R-378BMV, R-934BMV, and R-325UMV jamming stations. All the system equipment is placed on an MT-LBu pelled chassis, which ensures high mobility and cross-country ability. The overall coordination of the system’s operation is managed by the crew of the R-330KMV control center, which consists of four personnel.

However, in September 2022, the Defense Forces managed to capture one Russian R-934BMV jamming station in the Kharkiv region.
