A Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet destroyed a Russian ferry in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhia region with two high-precision bomb strikes, according to footage published by the Soniashnyk Telegram channel.

The airstrike targeted a ferry crossing near Vasylivka, using two American-made GBU-62 bombs fitted with JDAM-ER guidance kits.

The video shows the bombs hitting a temporary bridge constructed on the site of a previously destroyed road bridge, destroying a key Russian logistics route.

According to Soniashyk, the operation was made possible by the systematic destruction of Russian air defense assets, including the Buk system, in the region.

The crossing was a vital part of the only asphalt road connecting Russian forces in this sector. It served as a key logistical artery for Russian units that have been conducting offensive operations near the settlement of Kamianske since late June.

In roughly three weeks of fighting, Russian forces have pushed Ukrainian units back from some positions behind the Yanchekrak River. They have also crossed the dried-out reservoir created by the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam, seized parts of Kamianske, and advanced into the neighboring villages of Stepove and Lobkove.
