Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck Russian airfields and a missile unit used to launch attacks against Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces struck 16 targets in Russia, including airfields, a missile unit, and infrastructure that is regularly used to launch attacks against Ukraine.

According to the President, Ukrainian forces also carried out long-range strikes against Russian oil facilities, a defense industry enterprise, and logistics infrastructure.

A report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine supplemented information about strikes on specific military infrastructure targets.

Meanwhile, the specific airfields and missile unit Zelensky mentioned have not been officially identified, so they should not be linked to specific facilities without confirmation.

It is known that on August 24, Ukrainian forces struck the Millerovo airfield, located near the settlement of Dolotinka.
