The Russian Project 11356R frigate Admiral Essen was struck once again during the April 6 attack on Novorossiysk.

OSINT analysts from CyberBoroshno concluded this after analyzing available images from the scene.

They confirmed the ship’s identity by examining its distinctive equipment coloring and the consistent arrangement of other vessels in the port.

In particular, the frigate Admiral Essen’s radars are distinctively white. This sets it apart from other Project 11356R frigates, which have gray antennas.

Another indicator was the condition of the frigate Admiral Makarov. After the attack, it remained in the same position as it had been following the previous strike.

On the night of March 2, the Admiral Essen was struck for the first time as a result of a drone attack.

The main strike targeted the ship’s central superstructure, causing significant damage to critical systems.
