Three British and American surveillance aircraft are in the air over Ukraine

Today, three British and American surveillance aircraft are monitoring situation over Ukraine.

A remotely piloted U.S. military vehicle, the RQ-4 Global Hawk, has flown over Ukraine in circles for hours at a time. After entering our airspace over Chernivtsi region, it immediately started monitoring the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine.

The unmanned aircraft vehicle continued its flight along the border with Belarus over the northern and central regions of Ukraine.

The US Air Force’s Boeing RC-135W Rivet Joint electronic surveillance aircraft was also spotted in the airspace of Ukraine.

The reconnaissance aircraft crossed the Ukrainian border over Western Ukraine and began to monitor the northern border.

The aircraft from the Great Britain later joined the American plane.

The British RC-135W electronic reconnaissance aircraft crossed the airspace of Ukraine from Poland, where it had previously monitored the western border of Belarus.

At 6 p.m., the planes are continuing their reconnaissance work.

As reported earlier, on January 21, the U.S. Air Force’s RQ-4 Global Hawk UAV monitored Ukraine’s border with Belarus and Russia for the first time.

The surveillance UAV with the call sign UAVGH000 took off from the air base in the United Arab Emirates and reached our country through the airspace of Iraq, Jordan, Greece and Bulgaria. The unmanned aircraft first made several circles in the north of Ukraine between Zhytomyr and Konotop, then headed in the direction of Izyum in Kharkiv region.

Ukraine allows foreign aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles into its airspace to monitor the situation in the occupied territories of Donbas and Crimea. The data obtained is transmitted to our servicemen.
