The Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed the ammunition depot and military equipment of the Russian invaders.

This was announced in the morning report of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian servicemen struck at the Russian ammunition depot in the Mykolayiv region.

Up to 20 units of Russian military equipment were destroyed.

The destroyed positions of the Russian occupying forces were located in the village of Ivan-Kepyne.

“Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed an ammunition depot and 20 units of Russian military equipment in the village of Ivan-Kepyne,” said the General Staff.

The village of Ivan-Kepyne is located in the Snihurovsky district of the Mykolaiv region not far from the temporarily Russian-occupied Kakhovka and near the city of Kherson captured by Russia.

In general, as of the morning of May 7, on the Pivdennyi Buh frontline, the aggressor shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops with artillery.

The enemy also deployed missiles and rocket-propelled grenade launchers to shell the infrastructure in the city of Mykolaiv.

According to the General Staff, in the temporarily occupied city of Kherson, Russian occupation forces are undertaking a number of measures to ensure the combat effectiveness of their units and to support the Russian occupation regime.

The number of checkpoints and mobile patrols has been increased.

Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized the Russian missile over the Odesa region. The enemy tried to inflict another damage to the region’s infrastructure.
