Last night, Lt. Gen. Andrey Mordvichev, a commander of the 8th Army of the Southern Military District, was eliminated in Chornobaivka township near Kherson city.

He is not the first general to die in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian servicemen has already eliminated at least four generals of the Russian army.

In addition, during the day, March 18, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed several columns of equipment of the occupiers in Mykolayiv and Sumy regions, now the losses of the enemy are being clarified.

The enemy continues to suffer significant losses. Occupiers have problems with the logistics of his units.

Recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liquidated the commander of the 331st Guards Airborne Regiment of the Russian Army, Colonel Sergei Sukharev.

He took command of the regiment in October 2021. Before that, he was Deputy Commander of the Airborne Brigade in Ulyanovsk.

The 331st Guards Airborne Regiment is part of the 98th Airborne Division. Based in Kostroma.

The unit has been participating in hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2014.
