An oil depot of the invaders was hit in temporarily occupied Luhansk.

Leonid Pasichnyk, a collaborator and head of the occupation administration of the Luhansk region, claimed that ATACMS was allegedly used for this.

The explosions were reported late in the evening of May 7.

Photos and videos of the fire, likely caused by the impact, were posted on social media.

“The night attack on the oil depot in Luhansk was probably executed with Western-style ATACMS missiles,” the head of the occupation administration of the Luhansk region wrote.

According to Pasichnyk’s preliminary data, five employees of the oil depot were injured and hospitalized.

Four ambulances arrived at the site of the attack, but, according to him, first aid to the victims was complicated by a strong fire.

As a result of the strike, power lines were damaged, and houses near the oil depot were partially de-energized, adds the leader of the so-called “LPR”.

A high-pressure gas pipeline is on fire, and all Luhansk units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are involved in extinguishing the fire.

Late on Tuesday night, Pasichnyk reported a strike on an oil depot in Luhansk and a fire that resulted from the attack.

Several oil refineries in Russia and the occupied territories of Ukraine have already come under fire since the beginning of 2024. In the first quarter, at least seven Russian refineries shut down their facilities.

In early May, drones attacked oil refineries in the Ryazan and Voronezh regions of Russia.
