Strike drones attacked an oil depot in the village of Hvardiiske near Simferopol.

Local residents reported this.

The strike targeted an oil depot in the village of Hvardiiske (45.116834, 34.030517), which is located next to the air base of the same name (45.116796, 33.976766).

According to local residents, they heard a total of 20 explosions, after which a severe fire and smoke started.

It should be noted that local residents also reported explosions on the territory of the airbase.

According to some sources, combat aircraft were at the airfield at the time of the explosion. There is a high probability that the unit’s aircraft suffered losses.

The 37th Mixed Aviation Regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces is stationed at Hvardiiske Air Base and is equipped with Su-24M frontline bombers and Su-25 attack aircraft.

Prior to the explosion at the airfield, local media reported an air raid alert and the operation of Russian air defense on the peninsula.

On the night of March 23-24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted a massive strike on Russian military facilities in temporarily occupied Crimea.

As a result of a prolonged night attack with Storm Shadow/SCALP EG cruise missiles, many ground and naval targets were hit.

The important naval targets included the Yamal and Azov landing ships near Cape Fiolent.

Another target was the naval communication hub and infrastructure facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, including the permanent deployment point of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation.
