Satellite images released show craters and signs of fire at the site of three underground storage facilities containing fuel and munitions for Shahed/Geran-2 and Gerbera UAVs near Navlya in the Bryansk region.

The OSINT community Dnipro OSINT published images of the aftermath of the attack on the drone storage and launch facility.

The images near one of the depots show signs of detonation and fire spreading from the entrances to the underground storage facility.

The damage observed may indicate the successful destruction of at least one of the three warehouses.

On August 3, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of storage, preparation, and launch sites for strike UAVs in the village of Navlya.

Militarnyi’s analysts examined NASA’s FIRMS fire map and determined that the fire in the area of the drone port occurred on August 1.

However, on August 3, thermal anomalies were already being recorded in the area of the nearby Navlya power substation.

No official reports have been made regarding damage to this substation.

The substation was likely also hit, and due to the difficulty of extinguishing fires at such facilities, the blaze continued to burn.

Overall, the site’s capacity allowed the Russian army to launch at least 150 Shahed-type drones in a single attack.

Also, on the night of August 3, Ukrainian drones attacked a building at Belgorod State Technological University, where the Russians had set up drone production and training for FPV operators.

Based on the published photos, Militarnyi geolocated the targeted building—it turned out to be the university’s hockey arena. A massive fire broke out in the building after the drone strike.
