Satellite images confirmed the destruction of a warehouse at the Russian Murom Instrument-Making Plant, which manufactures ammunition initiation and ignition devices.
This was investigated by the analysts from the Dnipro OSINT ⟨Harbuz⟩ group, who published the relevant photos.
The defense plant is located in the city of Murom, the Vladimir region.
On the night of April 30, the plant was attacked by Ukrainian drones, after which a fire broke out on its premises.
The publicly released satellite images show that as a result of this strike, one building on the premises of the enterprise was destroyed.
Previously, the Spy Dossier telegram channel reported the damage to a finished goods storage warehouse – the building was completely destroyed by fire, and it was preliminarily storing ammunition capsules for firearms.
Astra reported the destruction of an administrative building, which could have been the plant’s entrance.
Eight long-range aircraft-type drones were used for the strike on the Russian defense enterprise.
The UAV attack was confirmed by the governor of the region, who stated that a fire had broken out over an area of 720 square meters at the warehouse after the “drone crashed,” allegedly due to the effects of Russian electronic warfare (EW) systems.
The Murom Instrument-Making Plant is one of the main manufacturers of ammunition initiation and ignition devices for all branches of the Russian Armed Forces, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, and other law enforcement agencies.
This enterprise is part of the Tekhmash concern within the state corporation Rostec.
Earlier, satellite images confirmed the damage to the Russian ammunition production plant NPO Bazalt, which manufactures, among other things, warheads for Shahed-type drones, in the city of Krasnoarmeysk, the Moscow region.
