Russians launched fire at 5 railway stations in Ukraine today – “Ukrzaliznytsia”

The Russian invaders have launched fire at 5 railway stations in the Center and West of Ukraine; there are reported casualties.

On the morning of Monday, April 25, Oleksandr Kamyshyn, Chairman of the Board of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, reported on the damage to the railway infrastructure on his Telegram channel.

“Russian troops continue to systematically destroy railway infrastructure.

This morning, within an hour, 5 railway stations in the Center and West of Ukraine were under fire,” reads the statement.

The Chairman of the JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” Board also stated that at least 16 passenger trains will be detained.

According to Oleksandr Kamyshyn, as a result of the Russian strikes, people were injured.

“Casualties have been reported, we are clarifying the details. I will provide updates later,” Kamyshin added.

“Ukrzaliznytsia” reported that due to the damage to the traction substations there is no voltage in the overhead lines at the sections Shepetivka – Koziatyn, Zhmerynka – Koziatyn, Koziatyn – Fastiv.

“Trains traveling through these sections are being delayed. The extent of the delay and the list of trains will be announced later,” “Ukrzaliznytsia” mentioned in its statement.
