Russia Strikes American Flex Factory in Zakarpattia Region

On August 21st, 2025, Russia attacked the facility of the American company Flex, located in the Zakarpattia region.

The SPRAVDI – Stratcom Centre reported about this on X.

Currently, 15 people have been injured, with two in critical condition.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a large-scale fire, covering an area of approximately 7,000 square meters, was caused by a Russian missile strike.

“At the time of the strike, around 600 workers were inside, but they managed to reach shelters,” SPRAVDI reported.

The Flex factory is located in western Ukraine, over 800 kilometers from the front line.

The facility in Mukachevo employs 3,500 people, with over 200,000 employees worldwide. The company manufactures products for global brands such as Google, Microsoft, Nike, and Lenovo.
