Polish Lubawa Unveils Net Screen Against FPVs and Grenade Launchers

Polish company Lubawa S.A. has developed the lightweight “Lekka osłona siatkowa” net screen to protect vehicles from shaped-charge munitions and FPV drone strikes.

Militarnyi’s correspondent reported on this from the MSPO 2026 international defense exhibition in Poland.

The system is designed to protect military vehicles and other assets from shaped-charge anti-tank munitions such as the PG-7V and PG-7VM.

Its modular design allows its dimensions to be adapted to a specific vehicle.

The screen is built around a frame made of composite material or an aluminum alloy.

The frame includes cables made of tear-resistant material. The manufacturer also applied a special coating to protect the structure from weather conditions.

The cables are tensioned using fabric straps placed along the edges of the frame. Once tensioned, the straps are secured with Velcro fasteners. Metal parts are installed at cable intersection points to prevent shifting.

Individual screen sections can be connected to one another using rigid ball joints or Velcro straps.

The system is attached to the vehicle’s hull using adjustable brackets. These allow the required distance between the net screen and the vehicle’s surface to be set.

During the exhibition, this anti-drone protection system was demonstrated on a Bobr 3 armored reconnaissance vehicle.

In August 2026, Poland also held a parade marking Polish Armed Forces Day and the 106th anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw.

During the event, in addition to the aforementioned Bobr 3, South Korean KLTV armored vehicles fitted with these net screens were also displayed.
