Oil depot in the occupied Luhansk region attacked by a drone – fire breaks out

A fire broke out at the oil depot in the temporarily occupied Rovenky in the Luhansk region last night.

Russian propaganda media claim it was caused by an alleged attack by a Ukrainian drone.

As a result of the attack, which took place around 3 am, one of the tanks with petroleum products was depressurized and caught fire.

There was also a threat of the fire spreading to the nearby tanks, but the invaders said they were able to extinguish the fire by 5:40 am.

The invaders published a photo of the fire extinguishing process. The photo shows how a tank on the territory of the base is burning, and firefighters are trying to put it out.

The occupying authority of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region assures that there are no victims as a result of the fire.

The city of Rovenky has been occupied by the Russians since 2014 and is located far from the front line: between the settlements of Dyakove, Shtotove, and Dovzhansk. Probably, until now the invaders believed that the city was in their deep and relatively safe rear.

As previously reported, today Russia reported the fall of an allegedly Ukrainian drone in the Moscow region.

The invaders claim that 17 kg of explosives were found inside the drone.

It is reported that the UAV that had fallen to the ground was found in a forest near the city of Noginsk.

It was discovered by a local resident on the afternoon of April 23.

There was also an attack by surface drones in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol on the night of April 24.
