Mariupol: Marines from 36th Brigade broke through towards Azov fighters

On April 12, 2022, hundreds of soldiers of the 36th Independent Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have broken the Russian encirclement and joined the “Azov” Regiment, where they joined forces for joint action.

“I can’t give you all the details, but I can say that right now we have joined the “Azov” Regiment. Several hundred marines managed to come out, including the wounded,” said the officer from the 36th Brigade.
