Late on June 3, Ukraine’s Defense Forces hit a Russian ammunition depot in temporarily occupied territory.

A video from the site, reportedly filmed by the invaders, was shared by the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.

The Telegram channel claims the strike was carried out using kamikaze drones.

The footage shows a massive fire, multiple explosions, and scattered munitions flying apart.

The invaders themselves confirm in the video that the destroyed depot was located at a base used by a Russian army unit.

Initial reports indicated that the depot was located in the Donetsk region. However, the Typical Donetsk Telegram channel claims that it was actually in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.

There is currently no official information from the Ukrainian Defense Forces about who launched the strike on this Russian invaders’ facility or what means were used.

Destroying ammunition depots is an important means of weakening the Russian army’s combat capabilities.

Such strikes reduce the stockpiles of shells and missiles, complicate the logistical support of units, and force the Russian command to spend additional resources on transporting and dispersing munitions.

As a result, the intensity of fire in certain areas of the front decreases, limiting the ability to perform offensive operations.

In May, operators from the 1st Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, destroyed a Russian facility in the temporarily occupied city of Snizhne, Donetsk region, where drone operators were trained, and UAV components were produced.

The strike destroyed production and repair facilities used to service equipment and support the facility’s operations.
