French President Emmanuel Macron has announced the completion of the allies’ work on security guarantees for Ukraine.

European Pravda reported on this.

According to him, the document is ready for political approval, which opens the way for further steps in the field of international support for Kyiv.

“Thanks to the contribution prepared, documented, and confirmed this afternoon at the level of defense ministers in strict secrecy, we can now say that this work is completed and ready for political approval,” Macron stated.

The French president clarified that the work on the guarantees was a continuation of the agreements reached at the White House summit in August. These measures should create a basis for rapid action after a peace agreement is reached, if one is reached.

The President of Ukraine, who had arrived at the Elysee Palace the day before, welcomed the progress and emphasized that the guarantees have real meaning and are tangible support, not symbolic promises. Zelenskyi also reminded that previous coalition initiatives, which at first seemed unlikely, have been implemented and are working successfully.

Today, a meeting of the Coalition of the Resolute will be held in Paris under the chairmanship of France and the United Kingdom. The leaders plan to discuss further steps and, after the discussions are completed, will call US President Donald Trump to coordinate their positions.
