Iran has announced it will deliver a strong response to the recent Israeli strike and has already launched kamikaze drones toward Israel.
Clash Report shared footage capturing the flight of one of the attack drones.
According to Reuters sources in Iran, discussions regarding the details of the retaliatory strike are taking place at the highest levels of government.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a statement on Friday morning, confirmed that Israeli strikes targeting nuclear and military sites resulted in the deaths of high-ranking military officials and scientists, according to The Times of Israel.
He declared that Israel would face “severe punishment” for the attacks on the country.

According to official reports, the strikes resulted in the deaths of at least three high-ranking generals, including the commander of Hossein Salami, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, as well as two prominent nuclear scientists – Fereydoon Abbasi and Mohammad Tehranchi.
It is evident that one of the key elements of Iran’s retaliatory strike on Israel will be long-range kamikaze drones of the Shahed type, also actively used by Russia against Ukraine.
Their likely objective is to overwhelm Israel’s air defense system, which is currently on the highest alert in anticipation of Iranian retaliation.
Iranian Shahed drones have already been spotted over southern Iraq, flying in the direction of Israel.

Early in the morning on June 13, Israel officially announced a preemptive strike on Iran and warned of a possible retaliatory missile and drone attack from the Iranian side. A state of emergency was declared nationwide, and airspace was closed.
According to Reuters, Israel carried out the strike on Iran without the involvement of the United States. Two U.S. officials shared this with the media on condition of anonymity.
Later, Secretary of State Marco Rubio officially stated that the United States is not participating in the strikes on Iran.
