GROT: Ukrainian soldiers are already receiving Polish 5.56 mm assault rifles

Polish GROT assault rifles began to arrive for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Ukrainian soldiers published a video showing new weapons.

“It’s really cool. Super light. They are super comfortable,” the soldier commented.

GROT C16 FB-M1 is a 5.56 mm assault rifle manufactured by the Polish company Fabryka Broni Łucznik.

The rifle has a modular system.

Length with stock extended/retracted: classical design 900/843 mm, bull-pup design 675 mm
Barrel length: 406 mm

Rate of fire: 700–900 rounds/min
Magazine capacity: 30, 60 rounds

GROT tests were completed in 2017, at the same time an agreement was signed for the supply of 40,000 assault rifles for the needs of Poland’s territorial defense.
