A fire broke out in the town of Podolsk, near Moscow, following a drone attack, approximately 200 meters from the TsNIITochMash facility.

Initially, the ASTRA outlet geolocated the fire as occurring directly at the plant. It later clarified the exact location of the blaze.

The fire erupted in the Klimovsk neighborhood, where the facility is located.

The photo shows a thick plume of black smoke rising near an industrial facility, indicating a large-scale fire. Analysts geolocated the photo and video, which were filmed from Industrialnaya Street and from the grounds of a logistics facility.

Both filming locations are in Podolsk, close to a facility belonging to Russia’s defense-industrial complex.
