Drones Strike Two Logistics Hubs and Oil Depot in Russia, Sparking Massive Fires

Ukrainian drones struck two Wildberries logistics centers overnight on July 22, targeting facilities in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk in Russia’s Stavropol Krai.

Videos published by the Exilenova+ Telegram channel and analysis by Astra indicate that the strikes also hit an oil depot in Armavir, in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. Fires broke out at all three targeted sites.

Before a fire broke out at one of Wildberries’ largest logistics hubs in Russia, located in Krasnodar, witnesses reported hearing 20–30 explosions.

According to local residents, the air raid siren was activated only after the strike, sounding for about two minutes before being switched off.

Following the attack, the company said the Krasnodar logistics facility had been evacuated in accordance with safety protocols.

The Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters also reported that a fire broke out at the warehouse complex after what it described as the “fall of drones.”

It later emerged that another Wildberries logistics center in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai, had also come under attack. The company subsequently said that employees at the facility had been evacuated.

Videos and photos shared by witnesses show warehouse buildings engulfed in flames, with towering fire and thick black smoke rising dozens of meters into the air.

Overnight, drones also struck an oil depot in the Northern Industrial Zone of Armavir. By morning, local authorities reported that the fire had spread across an area of 800 square meters.

Authorities said the city had endured one of its largest drone attacks, with the oil depot reportedly targeted by more than 16 drones. Nine pieces of specialized equipment and more than 40 personnel from Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry were deployed to extinguish the fire and deal with the aftermath.

On July 18, strike drones operated by the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked Wildberries warehouse facilities in the Moscow and Tambov regions. Then, on the night of July 20, drones struck an oil depot and four logistics warehouses near Moscow.
