Drones Strike Oil Depot and Four Logistics Warehouses 50 km From Moscow

Ukrainian Defense Forces strike drones attacked an oil depot and four logistics warehouses near Moscow.

According to the Astra Telegram channel, the overnight attack on July 19–20 sparked five separate fires, as reported by local residents.

One of the strikes hit a small oil depot in Podolsk (coordinates: 55.336438, 37.519863), located about 46 km (29 miles) south of Moscow.

The facility contains 10 fuel storage tanks with a combined storage capacity of 19,400 cubic meters.

The fire at the site was also confirmed by NASA’s FIRMS monitoring system, which detected a thermal anomaly at 4:05 a.m.

In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued operations targeting key Wildberries logistics hubs, partially destroying two large warehouse facilities.

One of the targets was Wildberries’ largest sorting center in Koledino (coordinates: 55.386325, 37.583998). Covering more than 225,000 square meters, the facility was engulfed in a major fire following the attack.

Another strike targeted the Yuzhnye Vorota logistics park (coordinates: 55.331738, 37.820744) near the settlement of Belye Stolby.

The fire at the facility was also confirmed by NASA’s FIRMS monitoring system, which detected a thermal anomaly at 4:05 a.m.

The facility is used by several major companies, including Wildberries, Yandex Market, Alibaba Group, Decathlon/Desport, and Grass. Available photos and videos confirm that several warehouse buildings were hit, with fires still burning at the site.

The fourth target was the Grivno logistics park, located in the village of Grivno in the Podolsk urban district of the Moscow region, at coordinates 55.3560858717915, 37.57431820324851.

The park, with a total area of more than 133,000 square meters, is used by Ozon. It is located 25 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road.

Moscow local authorities stated that more than 400 drones were flying toward the Moscow region on the night of July 20.

This is already the second time the Ukrainian Defense Forces have carried out such an attack on logistics terminals.

The first attack, carried out in response to Russia’s systematic strikes on Ukrainian postal logistics centers and supermarket warehouses, took place on July 18, 2026. At that time, Ukrainian Defense Forces strike drones targeted Wildberries warehouse facilities in the Moscow and Tambov regions.

The attacked logistics center in Elektrostal is considered Wildberries’ second-largest facility by order processing volume. In addition to civilian goods, Wildberries also advertises military equipment on its website, including body armor, optical drone reels, drones themselves, and related components, with listings emphasizing their use in the so-called ‘Special Military Operation’ (Russia’s term for its war in Ukraine).
