Strike drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces targeted the Krasny Yar Linear Production and Dispatching Station (LPDS) in Volgograd.
Governor Andrey Bocharov reported that a fire broke out at the station in the Zhirnovsky district due to falling drone debris.
However, local residents claim there were direct hits accompanied by loud explosions.
The Krasny Yar LPDS is a key part of a major oil pumping hub that supplies crude oil to the port of Novorossiysk, which was also reportedly targeted by Ukrainian drones today.
According to information from open sources, the station handles intermediate oil pumping of up to 62.6 million tons per year.
Militarnyi previously reported that on May 31, strike drones attacked the Lazarevo Linear Production and Dispatching Station in Russia’s Kirov region. The station is located 1,200 km from Ukraine, and its tank farm consists of large tanks with a capacity of 20,000 cubic meters (RVSP-20000) and extra-large tanks with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters (RVSP-50000).
