On the morning of July 29, Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery and a logistics center belonging to the Russian marketplace Wildberries in Ryazan.
This is evidenced by videos Exilenova+ published.
Footage recorded by eyewitnesses captured drones flying overhead and fires that broke out following the strikes.
Pavel Malkov, the region’s governor, later confirmed the attack, claiming that “falling UAV debris caused fires at industrial sites.”
Astra also confirmed that the Wildberries logistics center had been hit. The facility is located within the Ryazansky Industrial Park, near the village of Tyushevo in Ryazansky district, Ryazan region.
The marketplace’s sorting facility is also known as Ryazan: Tyushevskaya. The company officially announced that the facility’s operations had been temporarily suspended following the strike.
The affected facility is one of Wildberries’ major logistics hubs, where goods are processed, sorted, and distributed.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces used the FP-1 long-range drones developed by Fire Point to launch these strikes.
The Ryazan oil refinery is part of the Rosneft group. It is one of Russia’s largest oil refining facilities, with an annual processing capacity of approximately 17 million tonnes of crude oil.
The oil refinery houses four primary crude oil processing units, as well as facilities for vacuum gas oil hydrotreating, cracking, catalytic reforming, and other refining processes.
The refinery produces all grades of motor petrol, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, fuel oil, liquefied petroleum gases (LPG), bitumen, and petrochemical feedstocks. It is the primary supplier of motor fuels to the regions surrounding the Russian capital. Ukrainian drones have targeted the facility on multiple occasions.
On the morning of July 24, Ukrainian drones struck two Wildberries logistics centers simultaneously – one in St Petersburg and the other in the Leningrad region.
