Ukrainian drones attacked a Russian oil refinery in Saratov during the night of November 14.

The incident was reported by local community groups, and the Exilenova+ Telegram channel released a video of the strike.

Regional authorities confirmed the attack but officially stated only that ‘civilian infrastructure’ had been damaged.

In one of the eyewitness videos recorded by local residents, the sound of a drone flying overhead can be heard, as well as an attempt by Russian forces to shoot it down.

The governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, reported a drone threat in the area on his Telegram channel shortly after 2:00 a.m., and after five in the morning he confirmed the drone attack.

Meanwhile, Busargin did not say what exactly had been hit, noting only that allegedly some civilian infrastructure facilities had been damaged.

In the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that air defenses had allegedly shot down 45 Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Saratov region during the night.

This is already the second attack on a Russian oil-refining facility in this city. The previous strike took place during the night of November 11, when drones attacked the Saratov oil refinery, which is one of Russia’s largest refineries today.

Local residents at the time filmed a fire at the facility, which is part of the Rosneft oil company.
