Unmanned Systems Forces Destroy Russian UAV Operator Training Center

Operators of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, struck a Russian facility used to train drone operators and produce UAV components.

The operation was carried out in coordination with the Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, according to footage released after the strike.

The target was a facility used as a pilot training school for the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences.

According to available information, the facility also produced ammunition and components for enemy unmanned systems.

As a result of the strike, production and repair facilities used to service equipment and support the unit’s operations were destroyed.

Among the Russian losses were also four Tigr armored vehicles that were undergoing repairs at the time of the strike.
According to the Defense Forces, all vehicles were destroyed.

The Defense Forces also reported the elimination of the head of the training center, a Russian lieutenant colonel with the call sign “Bury.”

According to preliminary data, irrecoverable personnel losses amounted to at least 65 servicemen.

In addition, ammunition stockpiles and components intended for the production of unmanned systems were destroyed.

“The destruction of such facilities directly affects the ability of Russian forces to train new UAV operators, repair equipment and maintain combat activity at the front,” the Unmanned Systems Forces said.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a Russian base in the temporarily occupied city of Snizhne in the Donetsk region.
