Construction of road infrastructure, as well as ammunition and fuel and lubricant storage facilities, is nearing completion along the Ukrainian-Belarusian state border.

This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following a briefing by Oleh Lugovskyi, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.

Construction activity has been observed in the border areas of Kobryn–Kovel, Ivanove–Manevychi, Luninets–Sarny, Rechitsa–Korosten, and Gomel–Chernihiv.

It is known that Russian internal documents describe the development of this network specifically in the context of the objectives of the so-called “special military operation.”

As part of logistical support efforts, the 2766th fuel depot near the village of Krasny Bereg in the Gomel region is being modernized, while work continues at the 1405th artillery ammunition depot near the village of Velikaya Gorozha in the Mogilev region.

In total, six road bridges, one interchange, and one new storage facility each for ammunition and fuel and lubricants are currently under construction in the direction of Ukraine.

New crossings are being built alongside the existing bridge toward the Warsaw Highway (M1/P5), two across the Mukhavets River on Highway R2, and a bridge across the Dnipro-Bug Canal on Highway R-144.

In addition, engineering work is underway across the Pripyat River along the railway bridge on the Luninets–Stolin route, across the Sozh River on the R-30 highway, and across the Dnipro River on the M-10 highway.

To improve logistical capacity, a new interchange is also being built at the intersection of highways M-10 and R-33.

At the same time, new military facilities are being established on Belarusian territory. In particular, a joint training and combat center for the armed forces of the Russian Federation and Belarus is being deployed in the city of Krichev, which will specialize in the maintenance and use of missile weapons.
