On March 1, a Royal Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet destroyed an Iranian drone. The enemy aircraft was heading towards Qatari territory.

This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defence in an official report on the results of the combat sortie.

The British aircraft was performing a mission as part of the joint 12th British-Qatari squadron based in Qatar. While on patrol, the pilot spotted the target and fired an air-to-air missile.
