Russia is likely planning to withdraw from the Al-Qamishli military airfield in northern Syria.

This was reported by Clash Report, citing the Kurdish television channel K24.

The published footage shows Russian military personnel near an Il-76MD military transport aircraft.

According to the TV channel, they are loading military equipment and aircraft onto planes to transport them to other bases.

The Al-Qamishli airfield, located near the Turkish border, has long been used by the Russian military for operations in the region.

However, after government forces entered the territory previously controlled by the Kurdish alliance Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the situation changed dramatically.
