New York Post: USA Used Unknown Microwave Weapon During Maduro’s Capture

The Venezuelan military, who guarded Nicolás Maduro during his capture by US special forces, spoke about the use of unknown energy weapons by the US Army.

According to the soldiers, just before the storming of the government quarter, all the radars in the air defense units suddenly failed. After the appearance of American drones and helicopters in the sky, the soldiers felt the effect of a powerful energy wave that effectively suppressed any possibility of resistance.

One of the Venezuelan soldiers described unbearable internal pain, disorientation, and a feeling of “tearing his head apart from the inside.” Many soldiers suffered massive nose and internal bleeding, making it literally impossible for them to get off the ground.

The New York Post, citing an anonymous source, notes that this is the first time the Pentagon has used directed energy systems, probably microwave-type emitters, in real combat on a large scale.

The use of such radiation against the regular army sets a precedent in modern military affairs. Such technologies make it possible to neutralize manpower without traditional munitions. This makes defense against attacks extremely difficult for units that do not have specialized shielding against directed energy.

Experiments with this type of weapon were conducted back in World War II, but they did not find practical application then. Today, it is known that the US Armed Forces use the ADS (Active Denial System), known as the ‘pain ray.’

It was developed by Raytheon at the request of the Pentagon. The principle of operation is based on the emission of microwaves with a frequency of 95 GHz. Unlike a household microwave, this beam penetrates the skin by only 0.4 mm, but instantly heats the water molecules in the epidermis to 50°C. A person feels an unbearable burn, which causes them to instantly run away or fall down from shock.

In addition to ADS, the American defense industry has more powerful developments. For example, the PHASER microwave system is capable of instantly disabling the electronics and engines of drones by burning the chips of entire swarms of drones simultaneously.

Another example is the THOR (Tactical High-power Operational Responder) mobile unit, which generates short bursts of high-energy microwaves to protect air bases.

Experts also draw parallels with research into the Havana Syndrome. Although the nature of this phenomenon has not been officially confirmed, the US intelligence services have long studied the possibility that their diplomats in Russia and Cuba were attacked by directed radiation.

The symptoms of the victims – headaches, nausea, and disorientation – have many similarities with the testimony of the Venezuelan military after the operation to capture Maduro.
