In the city of Shebekino, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, ammunition for the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system exploded the day before.
This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Astra.
It is reported that as a result of these explosions, three Russian servicemen had been killed.
On the evening of Thursday, June 13, in the Russian city of Shebekino, which is located near the border with Ukraine, powerful explosions sounded and a fire broke out.
After that, local media wrote that a bomb could fall on the city, which the Russian plane was supposed to strike in the Kharkiv region, but for some reason it fell on the territory of Russia.
Later, the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, also announced the explosion on the outskirts of Shebekino, he announced the damage to 10 private households and one car.
He added that no one had allegedly been injured in the explosion and the causes of the incident were established.
And on Friday, June 14, Astra, citing emergency services of the Russian region, reported that the night before in the suburb of Shebekino, ammunition for the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system had exploded.
According to them, the explosion killed at least three soldiers of the Russian invasion army. Currently, the causes of detonation of ammunition are unknown.
The Russians actively use the Solntsepek system for attacks on light armored vehicles, manpower, as well as for the destruction of fortifications.
The Ukrainian military has repeatedly destroyed and captured enemy TOS-1A and their transport and loading vehicles.
Recently, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a missile attack on the command post of the Russian 6th Combined Arms Army, which was located on the territory of the recreation center near the village of Shebekino.
