As part of the Brave1 defense technology cluster, 135 developments worth $2.3 million have been funded.

This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

Ground robotic systems received the most funds, unmanned aerial vehicles in second place in spending, and in third place is force protection and security systems.

Also, within the framework of the Brave1, equipment of logistics and life support, systems of automated control, communication and information protection and SIGINT equipment received funds.

“Every technology is a revolutionary product that changes the approach to warfare. Developments help to counteract the enemy more effectively and save lives. Starting with naval drones and UAVs and completing with robots and turrets,” Fedorov said.

Militarnyi has repeatedly reported the transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine of various ground and aerial drones, turrets and EW equipment.

For example, in September it was reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine allowed the first ShaBlya remote weapon station to operate in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The RWS can be armed with a machine gun, automatic grenade launcher or other weapons. The system provides remote strike of the enemy at a distance of up to 2 kilometers.

The turret is equipped with a video camera and thermal imager. Thanks to detection and surveillance as well as remote control, operators can fire with the RWS remaining in a safe place.

There was also information about the integration of ShaBlya on the Rys (Lynx-ed.) unmanned robotic platform, which is used in the Da Vinci Wolves unit.

Another area of Brave1 funding is portable EW systems. In November, Militarnyi reported that a compact ETER signal intelligence system was created in Ukraine.

ETER is a compact direction finders system, which is designed to detect enemy radio signals, drones and electronic warfare systems.
