European tank manufacturer KNDS will collaborate with Ukrainian Unmanned Technologies (UUT) in the field of ground-based robotic systems.
KNDS France announced that it plans to engage in the industrial production of ground drones for European armies.
The collaboration has already been put into practice through the integration of the KNDS Robotics system onto the RAVLYK platform.
Based on the results of their initial joint efforts, both companies plan to continue their collaboration and explore the terms of a future partnership.
In a statement to Militarnyi, UBT explained that the company will provide KNDS with platforms without transferring intellectual property rights.
“We will provide the platform, which we will program either independently or jointly. KNDS will integrate its own weaponry onto it,” said a UBT representative.
At the recent Eurosatory 2026 exhibition, the Ukrainian company unveiled the third generation of the RAVLYK system—the UMP-3.
The RAVLYK UMP-3 ground-based robotic system features a 6×6 wheel configuration.
Its payload capacity is 500 kg. Depending on the installed modules, the platform’s weight ranges from 650 to 1,040 kg.
Its maximum speed reaches 12 km/h. The duration of autonomous operation in stationary mode reaches 72 hours, and the range on a single charge exceeds 25 km.
A variant of the RAVLYK UMP-3 has also been developed with the capability to mount an anti-tank UGV.
In addition, Ukrainian Unmanned Technologies and the French company Haulotte plan to launch joint production of the RAVLYK UGV.
