Ukrainian Navy Destroys Russian Forpost UAV Base at Khersones Military Airbase

The Ukrainian Navy has destroyed a base for Russian Forpost drones at the Khersones airbase in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The Ukrainian Navy reported on this.

The military airbase is located within the city of Sevastopol, on Cape Khersones.

“As a result of the strike, up to three Mohajer-6 UAVs and two Forpost UAVs were hit. These were used by the enemy to monitor the surface situation in the Black Sea,” the Ukrainian Navy reported.

On the night of August 21, explosions and a fire were reported at a Russian invaders’ military facility in temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

Videos taken by local residents were published on social media and in groups.

The occupation authorities later claimed that there were alleged military exercises at the military unit located near the Khersones airbase. However, in the comments on local groups, users said they were being made fools of.
