Ukrainian Naval Drones Interested Pentagon After Successful Attacks on Russian Ships

Recently, an American delegation arrived in Ukraine to familiarize itself with the latest developments in the field of unmanned systems.

According to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the representatives of the US Navy and the Pentagon conducted the first official tests of Ukrainian naval drones, which are already being used in combat.

The American side made two visits to study the technical capabilities of a number of platforms and held meetings with Ukrainian manufacturers.

Ukrainian experts presented solutions that have already been used in special missions and combat operations against Russian forces.

Ukraine has several variants of naval drones, the most famous of which are the Magura and Sea Baby series.

In recent months, Ukrainian forces have carried out a number of successful naval drone strikes against Russian port infrastructure and tankers of the so-called ‘shadow fleet.’

The latest known strike took place on December 10, when Sea Baby naval drones hit the third tanker of Russia’s ‘shadow fleet’ in the Black Sea.
