New Ukrainian guided bombs struck and destroyed a Russian position on the front line.
Footage of the strike was published on the Soniashnyk Telegram channel, which is associated with Ukrainian aviation.
The Ukrainian-made bombs were dropped from a MiG-29 fighter jet.
Two precision-guided bombs struck Russian trenches.
It is likely referring to an aerial bomb fitted with a glide and correction kit called Vyrivniuvach (Equalizer – ed.).
The bomb uses modern guidance software to improve its accuracy when striking targets.
In May, it was reported that the Ukrainian Air Force had received the first experimental batch of Ukrainian bombs.
“This is not a copy of Western or Soviet solutions, but a domestic development by Ukrainian engineers designed for effective target engagement tens of kilometers deep after release,” the Minister of Defense said at the time.
In 2025, Ukraine tested a guided bomb launched from a front-line bomber Su-24.
At the time, it was reported that the weapon could strike targets up to 60 kilometers away.
This range was achieved thanks to the use of universal glide and correction modules installed on high-explosive bombs.
Meanwhile, work was already underway on solutions aimed at increasing the strike range to 80 kilometers.
