Ukrainian drones will be presented for the first time at the Paris Air Show, one of the world’s largest aerospace technology exhibitions.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, announced this.

At the event, Ukrainian company Ailand Systems will demonstrate two drone models: one designed for detecting explosive objects and another for monitoring agricultural land.

Based on a promotional video, the explosive detection model is the ST1 quadcopter, intended for surveying mined areas.

The drone is operated remotely from a safe distance.

The ST1 is equipped with specialized sensors and an onboard microcomputer that processes data and transmits it to explosive ordnance disposal teams in real time.

According to the developers’ information, provided for Militarnyi, the ST1 can scan one hectare of mined land in four hours, four times faster than manual inspection.

The sensor system can detect a wide range of mines, including those with low metal content.

“Important technologies for humanitarian demining. I am proud of Ukrainian manufacturers,” Fedorov said.
