Ukrainian strike drones targeted fuel storage tanks at the Grushovaya oil transshipment depot in Novorossiysk.
The Dnipro Osint project released satellite images confirming the damage.
According to reports, the May 23 strike hit two fuel tanks, completely destroying one of them. A section of the pipeline system was also damaged in the attack.
The facility is located at coordinates 44.74903, 37.87853 and is considered strategically important as one of the largest oil infrastructure hubs in the Caucasus and southern Russia.
The facility is situated in the mountainous area of the Grushovaya ravine, several kilometers from the coast of Tsemes Bay.
The Grushovaya oil depot and the Sheskharis marine terminal on the Black Sea coast operate as a single integrated facility known as the Sheskharis oil transshipment facility.
The site can store an estimated 1.2–1.25 million cubic meters of crude oil and petroleum products. The facility includes between 40 and 47 storage tanks.
Reports also recently confirmed that Ukrainian drones successfully hit the Vtorovo oil pumping station near the village of Maryinka in Russia’s Vladimir region.
The strike occurred overnight between May 23 and 24. At 00:04 local time, authorities issued a drone attack warning across the region.
The station primarily pumps diesel fuel into the Moscow Ring Oil Products Pipeline, making it a key part of the Moscow region’s fuel supply network.
