One of the Joint Stock Company Ukrainian Defense Industry enterprises has signed a memorandum of cooperation with KNDS Belgium SA.

The Ukrainian Defense Industry press service reported on this.

The parties intend to jointly organize the assembly of medium-caliber ammunition.

These munitions are used for firing from automatic cannons and for targeting enemy personnel, light armored vehicles, and low-flying aerial targets.

“We are gradually expanding the geography of our international partnerships, seeking and finding new areas of cooperation. This benefits Ukraine’s Defense Forces and our defense industry, which aims to integrate into the global arms industry of NATO countries,” Oleh Huliak, Director General of the Ukrainian Defense Industry, stated.

The Ukrainian Defense Industry noted that KNDS Belgium is a globally recognized designer and manufacturer of a wide range of ammunition.

The company is a supplier to NATO, the Belgian Army, and many other countries.

Recently, one of the enterprises of the Ukrainian Defense Industry also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Spanish company Escribano Mechanical & Engineering, which specializes in the production of modern combat modules.
