The Ukrainian Air Force struck a bridge over the Karachokrak River in the Russian-occupied town of Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia region.
The Soniashnyk Telegram channel released video of the airstrike.
Footage recorded after the strike indicates that the bridge suffered severe damage, leaving the crossing critically impaired.
The bridge is located on one of the key logistical routes used by Russian invading forces operating in southern Ukraine.
Its destruction could significantly disrupt the supply and movement of Russian units in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
Footage recorded immediately after the airstrike shows extensive damage to the road deck of the bridge.
Vasylivka is one of the most important transport hubs in the Russian-occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region.
The bridge was part of a key supply route connecting occupied areas of the region with Russian rear bases that support forces operating toward Zaporizhzhia city.
By knocking out the crossing, Ukrainian forces aim to severely disrupt the movement of Russian reinforcements, military equipment, and ammunition to units on this section of the front line.
The strike is part of Ukraine’s broader campaign to degrade Russian logistics and supply lines, particularly in southern Ukraine.
On the night of June 20, Ukrainian forces struck a road bridge across the Henichesk Strait near the Russian-occupied city of Henichesk in Kherson region.
The bridge serves as an important logistics link for Russian troops, who use it to transport reinforcements, military equipment, ammunition, and other supplies to forces operating in southern Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces also attacked three railway bridges that are critical elements of the Russian military logistics system in the south of Ukraine and Crimea.
