Ukraine Unveils New Ratel X Ground Drone

A new development has been presented in Ukraine – the Ratel X ground drone, which integrates the best proven solutions from RATEL.

According to the company’s director, Taras Ostapchuk, the Ratel X was built as a completely new platform rather than an upgrade of earlier models.

The team set out to create a new class of vehicle, incorporating feedback from frontline units and the requirements of the modern battlefield. Notably, the Ratel X is equipped with two cameras.

One of the key features of the Ratel X is its reduced height. This design approach lowers visibility and improves stability when moving in difficult conditions.

The structure has also been made wider. This helps the vehicle maintain balance and prevents the platform from tipping over.

The Ratel X stands out for its increased speed and agility, which allows it to be used in active combat situations and rapid maneuvers.

The drone has been given increased ground clearance, enabling it to confidently overcome debris, trenches, and various types of terrain. Light armor protects key components from shrapnel damage, improving the vehicle’s survivability.
