On the night of June 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a column of Russian trucks carrying fuel and ammunition near Armiansk.

Dmytro “Perun” Filatov, commander of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment, reported this on the air of “Suspilne Studio”.

According to him, the convoy consisted of about 50 trucks, some of which were destroyed.

“Because the Chonhar Bridge was damaged, the enemy concentrated a large number of trucks carrying military cargo that were moving specifically through Armiansk. Consequently, during the strike, we managed to hit the trucks carrying fuel and ammunition. There were about 50 vehicles, and some of them were destroyed,” the regiment commander announced.

He promised that the military would later explain how this operation unfolded in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

“This operation would not have been possible if other units had not struck Mariupol and the road to Berdiansk. This is precisely what led to the units stationed in the Huliaipole sector beginning to receive supplies not via the roads of Mariupol, but through Crimea,” Filatov emphasized.

The commander of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment also noted that strikes on logistics routes have already complicated the resupply of Russian units.

It was earlier reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck road bridges with drones connecting occupied Crimea with the occupied areas of the Kherson region.

The targets were road bridges at the entrance to the city of Armiansk from the Kherson region and at the entrance to Yany Kapu (Krasnoperekopsk) from the Armiansk side. Eyewitnesses reported explosions and fires in these areas overnight.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-appointed “head” of the occupied part of the Kherson region, stated in the morning that UAVs had attacked bridges across the North Crimean Canal near Preobrazhenka and Mirny, a road bridge in the direction of Perekop–Armiansk, as well as a bridge near the village of Stavki.

Later, he announced the organization of traffic to Crimea for Russians, bypassing the aforementioned bridges that were attacked.

Over the past few days, Ukrainian defenders have already attacked twice with drones the road bridge across Lake Syvash near Chongar, as well as struck the bridge between Henichesk and the Arabat Spit. These bridges connect the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region with Crimea.
