Ukraine’s Defense Forces Liberate 26 Settlements in Oleksandrivka Sector

Ukrainian Air Assault Forces units, together with other Defense Forces units, conducted a successful offensive operation in the Oleksandrivka sector.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Air Assault Forces Command reported the operation.

The operation began on January 29, and since then Ukrainian troops have regained control of more than 745 square kilometers of territory and liberated 26 settlements.

Of the liberated settlements, 12 are located in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, 10 in the Donetsk region, and four in the Zaporizhzhia region. In addition, Ukrainian forces cleared more than 300 square kilometers of rear areas occupied by enemy forces.

Air Assault Forces units liberated 20 settlements: Tolstoi, Novokhatske, Hrushivske, Zirka, Zelenyi Hai, Piddubne, Myrne, Tsehelne, Pryvillia, Zlahoda, Krasnohirske, Pryvilne, Novohryhorivka, Stepove, Kalynivske, Berezove, Novomykolaivka, Voskresenka, Oleksandrohrad and Yalta.

Assault Forces units liberated another six villages: Rybne, Maliivka, Sichneve, Ternove, Novoheorhiivka and Zaporizke.
