Ukrainian Defense Forces have pushed the invaders back from approximately 46 square kilometers of territory in the Oleksandrivka sector of the front — the junction of the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
This was reported by analysts from the DeepState project.
According to the analysts, the Defense Forces managed to advance along a section of the front line with a total width of about 25 kilometers and a depth of up to 4-5 kilometers in certain areas of the offensive.
According to the DeepState project map, Ukrainian troops managed to push the invaders out of the village of Novoselivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region and from the territory south of it — to the outskirts of the village of Vorone — covering a total area of 8.31 square kilometers.
Meanwhile, in an area of 38.52 square kilometers near Tovste and Novokhatsk, which were completely occupied by Russian forces, as well as in Sichneve, Piddubne, and Zelenyi Hai, operations to clear out groups of invaders are still ongoing.
At the end of March, the 95th Polissya Airborne Assault Brigade of the Airborne Assault Forces liberated the village of Berezove in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
In total, as of May 22, since the beginning of 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated approximately 590 square kilometers of territory during counteroffensive operations, primarily in the Oleksandrivka direction.
