Ukraine has fully fulfilled its obligations under the European Freyja anti-ballistic missile project.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during a conversation with journalists, according to a correspondent for Ukrinform.

According to him, the system’s development is ongoing, but the situation requires a significant acceleration of all processes.

“As for the Freyja anti-ballistic project, Ukraine has done what it needed to do. What the partners—10 countries are participating—need to do is currently underway,” the President said.

Zelensky noted that he had discussed developing the air and missile defense system with French President Emmanuel Macron.

In addition to France, Norway is one of the key partners in implementing this program.

All components of the FP-7.X interceptor missile, designed to intercept ballistic missiles as part of the Freyja project, are manufactured in Ukraine, with the exception of “one part.”
