Ukraine’s Defense Forces Eliminate 41st Army Communications Lieutenant Colonel in 2025 Strike on Headquarters

OSINT monitoring made it possible to identify Russian officers killed in the strike on a command post in Donetsk on September 8, 2025.

At the time, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the command post of the Russian Armed Forces’ 41st Guards Combined Arms Army with missiles at the premises of the Scientific-Research Institute of Automated Systems, InformNapalm reports.

Following the attack, the Guards lieutenant colonel Sergey Konoplyov died at the facility.

The Russian officer served as Deputy Chief of Communications and Communications Engineer for the Headquarters of the 41st Guards Combined Arms Army (military unit No. 64128).

Another officer from the command of the communications units was also killed in the strike on September 8, 2025, whose name and rank could not be established.

On August 26, a missile strike in occupied Donetsk killed a lieutenant colonel on the staff of the Russian Armed Forces’ 41st Guards Combined Arms Army Andrey Moiseyenko.

The eliminated occupant served as a senior officer in the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
